Cherise Franklin’s Health Funding Project

First of all, I would like to ask for prayer for my wife. I would love to see her healed of all of her ailments. Seeing her healed by Jesus through faith would be an awesome testimony.

As it stands now, my wife is in need of weight loss surgery, which is the purpose of raising funds. There are many issues that she has to deal with being overweight, Such as:

  • Enlarged Heart (Cardiomegaly)
 According to WebMD:

An enlarged heart (cardiomegaly) may have various causes. But it’s usually the result of high blood pressure (hypertension) or coronary artery disease.

An enlarged heart may not pump blood effectively, resulting in congestive heart failure. Cardiomegaly may improve over time. But most people with an enlarged heart need lifelong treatment with medications.

  •  Hypertension/High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure or hypertension increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. Hypertension risk factors include obesity, drinking too much alcohol, smoking, and family history. Beta-blockers are a common treatment for hypertension.

  • Uterine Fibroids

Fibroids most commonly occur between ages 30 and 40, with black women at greatest risk. To date, at least one genetic link has been identified, indicating that fibroids may also run in families.

For some women, fibroids cause no symptoms, but when they do, doctors say problems often involve heavy menstrual periods and prolonged bleeding.

“They can also cause pelvic or abdominal pain or swelling and increased urination,” says Aydin Arici, MD, professor of obstetrics and gynecology and director of reproductive endocrinology and infertilityat the Yale University School of Medicine.

  • Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis is most often seen in middle-aged men and women, but can be found in all age groups. The condition is diagnosed by the typical symptom of focal pain deep in the heel area of the bottom of the foot. Often the pain from plantar fasciitis is most severe when you first stand on your feet in the morning. Pain often subsides quite quickly, but then returns after prolonged standing or walking.
